Agentless - Sun Solaris

Agentless Sun Solaris 8.x and 9.x patch deployments are supported over TCP/IP. Connectivity is supported using Telnet/FTP protocols (less secure) or SSH protocols (more secure; SSH1/SSH2 and public/private key files supported).

Substitute User (su or sudo) are also supported so that a non-administrative account can be used for connecting, and an administrative account can be used for patching the Solaris target.

"Agentless" means that there is no client-side manual installation or configuration of software necessary. Software used to support patch deployment is pushed to the client along with patches, and is invisible to a user.

SecurityEXPERT supports Windows targets only at this time.
