Agentless RedHat Linux 7.x, 8.x and 9.x patch deployment is supported over TCP/IP. Connectivity is supported using Telnet/FTP protocols (less secure) or SSH protocols (more secure; SSH1/SSH2 and public/private key files supported).
Substitute User (su or sudo) are also supported so that a non-administrative account can be used for connecting, and an administrative account can be used for patching the Solaris target.
"Agentless" means that there is no client-side manual installation or configuration of software necessary. Software used to support patch deployment is pushed to the client along with patches, and is invisible to the user.
RedHat patches are hosted at the St. Bernard Software web-site for enhanced download speed and reliability.
See "Getting Started with RedHat and Solaris"
See "Why does my RedHat Linux Query Fail?"
SecurityEXPERT supports Windows targets only at this time.
