Disconnected Leaf Agents - Microsoft Windows

Disconnected Windows machine support was introduced in UpdateEXPERT 6.2, and means that Leaf-Agents pro-actively contact the Master-Agent when reconnected to the network.

Upon contact, the Master-Agent then deploys previously queued patch requests, which were not able to be applied because the machine was unavailable.

This helps support machines turned off or sleeping at patch deployment time, as well as mobile users, or users who may be connecting intermittenly using VPN connections.

See " Disconnected Machine Support " for more details.

SecurityEXPERT can currently deploy settings to Windows Leaf-Agent machines only when connected to the network at the time of scanning/enforcement. True disconnected machine support may be added in a future release.
