There are several ways you can use, test, or demo UpdateEXPERT Premium without a lot of equipment.
With 2 machines, you can do a "Typical" install on 1st machine (Console, Master) and use the 2nd machine for Leaf-Agent installation. You can demo a Leaf-Agent "uninstall" from the 1st machine. You can explain or demo that the Leaf Agent install could also be done "locally" (directly) on the 2nd machine. You can also install the Console on the 2nd machine and show how it connects to the Master-Agent on the 1st machine. The Console and Leaf are now on the 2nd machine, but are functioning as stand-alone components that connect to each other via the Master.
A 3rd machine makes it easy to remotely install a 2nd Master-Agent so that you can connect to it from the Console on the 1st or 2nd machine, demonstrating multiple Master-Agent connectivity.
When not connected to the Internet, you cannot update the UpdateEXPERT database or download patches, or use the UpdateEXPERT "User Web" to articles and other resources
To get around this, while connected to the internet, consider the following:
Update to latest database before going offline
Manually download patches you want to deploy before going offline
When offline from the internet later, run UpdateEXPERT and deploy downloaded patches to customer machines (if allowed) or your own demo machine.

Make example screen shots of the Knowledgebase (http://uekb.stbernard.com) and the Patch Information Database application for display and discussion.
