What does the Agent Installer do?

Agent Installer allows you to install the following:

• Master-Agents on "Localhost" or a remote machine

• Leaf-Agents on "Localhost" or a remote machine

Remote agent installations rely on having correct credentials, services, shares, and registry access on the target system. Here is more information on Local vs. Remote installs, which is especially helpful with Leaf Agent installs in a DMZ.

On hardened systems, you will need to perform the agent installation directly on the target, not remotely.

Tip: There is a command line version of Agent Installer for scripted installs of Agents, very helpful when deploying many Leaf Agents at the same time.
