'Unable to Register Directory Browser'

You get the following dialogue Box when you launch the Agent Installer under one of two conditions:

• Launching from the wrong location or...

• You are not logged in with administrative credentials

If you answer "OK", the Installer Wizard GUI displays, but any attempted installation will fail because UEAgentInstaller.exe needs the .DLL's in the AgentInstaller folder.

You can launch Agent Installer via the GUI in the following ways:

• From the program group "Start | Programs | UpdateEXPERT | Agent Installer"

• From "File | Agent | Connection| Install Wizard button"

• From "File | Agent | Install Wizard"

You can launch Agent Installer directly from the file-system in the following ways:

• From C:\Program Files\St Bernard Software\UpdateEXPERT\AgentInstaller folder

• From a "Setup" image on a local drive, removable media (CD) or network drive (share), from the AgentInstaller folder. By Setup we mean the file structure created when you unzip our product download file.

• Using the Command-Line version of Agent Installer

DO NOT RUN FROM C:\WINNT\UEAgent\Download\Application, the AgentInstaller folder is not there, as this directory is only a staging are for new UpdateEXPERT files downloaded from St. Bernard Software.
