How do I Log and Report on Validation?

Go to "FILE | AGENT | SETTINGS --> Logging Tab" and check Log Validation, as shown below, along with other events you wish to log. This data can be found in the ActorUserLog.txt file in

  C:\Program Files\Common Files\UpdateEXPERT

The Validation Report is available from the reports menu as shown below. This report will notify you of validation errors with a specific messages for the errored files. Successes are not reported on. If no validation metadata exists for the file, you may see the filename but no status or message information... think of it as a null item. Bottom Line: the report identifies specific validation failures for investigation.
